:אֵלּוּ דְבָרִים שֶׁאֵין לָהֶם שִׁעוּר
,הַפֵּאָה, וְהַבִּכּוּרִים, וְהָרְאָיוֹן
.וּגְמִילוּת חֲסָדִים, וְתַלְמוּד תּוֹרָה
,אֵלּוּ דְבָרִים שֶׁאָדָם אוֹכֵל פֵּרוֹתֵיהֶם בָּעוֹלָם הַזֶּה
:וְהַקֶּרֶן קַיֶּמֶת לוֹ לָעוֹלָם הַבָּא
,כִּבּוּד אָב וָאֵם
,וּגְמִילוּת חֲסָדִים
;וַהֲבָאַת שָׁלוֹם בֵּין אָדָם לַחֲבֵרוֹ
.וְתַלְמוּד תּוֹרָה כְּנֶגֶד כֻּלָּם

משנה פאה א א

These are the things that have no measure,
Leaving over for the less fortunate,
Sharing the first of your profits,
Appearing for community gatherings,
Doing kind deeds,
Learning the way of life,
These are things that you can reap fruit now and whose principal will remain for you in the future:
Honoring your father and mother,
Doing kind deeds,
Bringing peace between a man and his friend,
And learning the way of life is equal to all of these.
