Independence day

I always have a difficult time connecting to a national identity. I consider it a Canadian thing. I know that there are some fairly patriotic Canadians, but I remember that when I used to see flags in cottage country, it was usually American draft dodgers. Americans love patriotism.

So yesterday morning I said the blessing for summer and winter by mistake which happens when I am not fully focused. So when we were at the beach and it started raining or when we packed up at the beach because the wind was insane, it wasn’t a typical national connection that was on my mind. But I’ll try and be more focused on what it is I’m asking for every morning.

Today I’m being interviewed for CAD work for the new underground in Tel Aviv.

I’ve been here half my life and more than a third of her life 24/66.
